THE HELICAL PIER EXPERTS

H&S Homes is proud to offer ground-breaking patented technology, literally!

Helical piers are available in round or square shafts and in numerous diameters. All of our products are backed by the PierTech System’s commitment to performance and reliability.

Sturdy Foundations With Less Fuss.

Helical piers might sound technical, but their job is simple: to lift and support your deck, addition, or structure with minimal yard disturbance. Our patented PierTech Cross‑Lock bolts in securely and meets ICC‑ES standards—so you know it’s built tough and built right.

Highlights:

  • Why Go Helical? – Avoid digging up your yard—screw piers in instead. Less muck, more muscle.

  • Season-Proof Strength – Twist-resistant design tackles freeze-thaw cycles and shifting soils common in Minnesota.

  • Built-In Speed – Fast install means lower labor costs and less disruption to your schedule.

When Should they Be Used?

For many new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial applications, helical piers and piles are required, and they may be employed when the work calls for caissons, driven piles, or micro piles. Damage to structures and foundations can be seen when they are subjected to dampness for an extended length of time or when building is done on unstable ground. Helicals are also employed at this time to repair weakened foundations. A few examples of helical applications are: fixing foundation problems in residential or commercial buildings; new construction projects; post-construction support; and many more.

Round Shaft Advantages
  • Superior lateral stability

  • Greater section modulus strength to resist twisting and deflection

  • Patented Cross Lock connection

  • Greater load capacities

  • Easy to install

  • Installs in any season

  • Minimal soil disturbance

  • Not affected by a high-water table

  • Not affected by temperature fluctuations

GREATER LOAD CAPACITIES

If you plan to have a hot tub or other heavy items on your deck, or you just want a huge deck, choosing helical piers will allow for a greater load capacity and safer over all product.

PATENTED CROSS LOCK CONNECTION

Round shaft helical piers offer superior strength and rigidity making them the ideal solution for compression applications. The problem has always been making the connection safely and quickly, as torque increases the holes begin to deform causing further delays in the installation process. Consequently, the installer spent more time making the connection than installing the pile.

Our Patented Cross Lock™ Connection was awarded ESR-3969 from ICC-ES for our 2.875″ diameter helical pile system. The connection instantly aligns and locks in place, eliminating the issue of lining up bolt holes or wasting time threading a bolt through a deformed hole.

SIMPLE INSTALLATION
MINIMAL SOIL DISTURBANCE

The helical screw pile is screwed into the soil until a desirable load capacity has been achieved. It is then spaced at pre-calculated intervals to spread the load of the structure. In foundation repair applications, brackets are then attached to the foundation wall bases and weight is transferred to the pile.
